Ferris Metal Recyclers have purchased three material handlers from Liebherr-Australia. The material handlers operate six days a week, complementing the company’s existing fleet of capital equipment, which includes a 250 ton non-ferrous baler, a 1000-ton Lefort shear baler and a 60-ton electronic weighbridge. The material handlers have been described as an essential part of a scrap enterprise, as they are used to move and load resources at the Ferris metal recycling facility in Burton, South Australia.
